WASHINGTON (Reuters) – US President Donald Trump on Tuesday spoke on the phone with Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc, voicing concerns about Vietnam’s trade deficit with the United States, the White House said.

“President Trump raised concerns about the trade deficit and urged Prime Minister Phuc to take bold steps to ensure fair and mutual trade between the United States and Vietnam,” said White House spokesman Judd Deere (NYSE :).
