ATLANTA (Reuters) – Kamala Harris, the first U.S. Vice President of Asian American descent, said Friday that Asian Americans were attacked and scapegoated after a fatal rampage in Georgia that killed eight people, including six Asian women.
Speaking at an event at Emory University, Harris said she would speak out against violence, hate crime and discrimination.
